VELOCITY CYCLING CLUB MEMBERSHIP
1. Individual Membership: Benefits include, training rides, midweek races, club track night,
entry fees at sanctioned races, ABA insurance, bike shop discount. Fee is $80.00
2. Family Membership: All the individual benefits at the following rate:
$80.00 for the 1st member, plus $45 for each additional member, to a maximum of $170.00.
3. Second Claim Members: Benefits include access to training rides, midweek races, club track night.
You are not required to post the volunteer bond. If you are affiliated with another club with ABA insurance, the fee is $40.00.
Volunteer Policy:
All full members (individual and family) are required to post a $75.00 (per member) volunteer bond with a postdated cheque for September 1st, 2010.Send or Drop Off Volunteer Cheques to Velocity Cycling Club c/oVelocity Cycle 7208 – 101 Avenue Edmonton, Alberta T6A 0J1
Note: The cheque will only be used if the member fails to meet his/her volunteer commitment.
Conditions for meeting the bond are to volunteer for one major position or 2 minor positions
For the club between January 1st, 2010 and December, 31st, 2010.
As of January 1, 2010 we require volunteers for the Velocity Stage Race, May 1-2, 2010, Year-End Club Party, Oct/Nov, 2010, Tuesday Nite Series (two races between May-August,2010, TBA).
Note: If you are signing up as a BMX member, volunteer commitments are administered through the BMX Division of Velocity Cycling Club.
