Skill Assessment Camps:
Ringette BC is very excited to bring Competitive Thread back once more to host our skill Assessment development program. Competitive Thread will be leading both the on –ice and off- ice testing. Competitive Thread is a physical assessment company that uses sport science to analyze athletic performance in a way that is objective and consistent. Competitive Thread provides to the athlete their own personal database that will be used to track their evaluations. For more information on Competitive Thread please visit their website at www.competitivethread.com.

The camp will include a one hour on ice testing session and a 45 minute off ice fitness testing session. It will conclude with a scrimmage for all the athletes. All evaluation results are private and confidential. Competitive Thread is responsible for all aspects of testing. The players will also have an education session hosted by Competitive Thread and a second on ice Ringette Skills session. Efforts are made to ensure that all athletes are given equal opportunity to perform each skill assessment at their best.

Goalie Specific Assessment:
This year Ringette BC will be hosting a goalie specific skill assessment and training session for all goalies. Players will participate in the skill assessment with Competitive Thread and all goalies will be given an hour session that focuses on goalie specific training and skill assessment to assist our goalies to develop their position specific skills and needs.

This is a one day camp. It will start with an on-ice Skill Assessment hosted once again by Competitive Thread followed by dry land testing with Competitive Thread.
