2020 BCWG Zone 8 Tryouts

BCWG ZONE 8 - Cariboo North-East

To attend the tryouts for Zone 8 you must have your primary residence within the boundaries as designated by the BC Games Society. Ringette BC's release system is not recognized by BC Games Society and participants must follow the BC Games Rules regarding residency. (BC Games Zone) Proof of residency must be shown in person at registration/check in desk. 

The following major cities make up the Cariboo North-East (Zone 8):
Encompasses the Regional Districts of Cariboo, Fort Nelson-Liard, Fraser-Fort George, and Peace River.  Includes the major centres of the district of Chetwynd, the city of Dawson Creek, the city of Fort Nelson, the city of Fort St. John, the district of Hudson Hope, the city of Prince George, the city of Quesnel, the town of Tumbler Ridge, and the city of Williams Lake.

Join us on February 20-23, 2019 as Fort St. John welcomes the BC Winter Games to our community!  The BC Winter Games are British Columbia’s biennial celebration of sport and community bringing together British Columbia’s best emerging highperformance athletes, trained coaches, and certified officials for four days of competition. This experience is an important development opportunity and stepping stone towards higher level sport competitions. 

Athletes born in 2005 and 2006 are eligible to attend the 2020 BC Winter Games.
