| MBIT Mountain Bike Instructor Training: Level 1
 Level 1 Dates: Oct 15 - 17
Time: Fri (6-9pm), Sat & Sun (9-5pm)
Ages: 18+
Interested in becoming a Mountain Bike Instructor?
We will lead you through the essentials of breaking down the fundamental skills necessary to teach and guide a beginner to intermediate level rider in a very clear, concise and step by step manner.
The program starts with an evening of theory, understanding the role of an Instructor, industry standards, risk management as well as teaching and learning theories and strategies. The following two days are on the bikes, where we outline each skill's teaching points, demonstrations, assessments and group management practices.
Endless Biking's Mountain Bike Instructor Training (MBIT) is currently recognized by:
- Sports Insurance
- Capilano University
- College of the Rockies
- Whistler Bike Park
- The Dirt Series
- Yukon Cycling Association
- More to come!
Prerequisites:
Level 1: Strong riders with a desire to gain instructing and guiding knowledge and experience. Experience or interest in Instruction or leading club rides is an asset. Skill demonstration competency requirements to complete program.

(Prerequisite: Level 1 MBIT)
Time: Fri (6-9pm), Sat & Sun (9-5pm)
Ages: 18+

We will lead you through the essentials of breaking down the fundamental skills necessary to teach and guide a beginner to intermediate level rider in a very clear, concise and step by step manner.
The program starts with an evening of theory, reviewing the role of an Instructor, industry standards, risk management, teaching and learning strategies, with a focus on observation and correction of skills. The following two days are on the bikes, where we focus on learning how to teach level 2 skills and practice teaching on trail.
