AVAILABLE DISCOUNTS

  • AGM ATTENDANCE: Members in good standing may receive a $50/per family registration discount (excluding U7, U9 & Goalies) when they attend and register & pay in full at the Annual General Meeting on April 26, 2018. Attendance of the AGM in its entirety is required in order to be eligible to receive the discount.
  • SIBLING DISCOUNT: Register 2+ siblings and receive $25 off for each additional player in the same family.
  • REFERRAL DISCOUNT: A $40 discount is available to families who refer a new player/family to Delta Ringette. New players must indicate the referring family on their Registration Form and complete a full season. The discount will be applied to the referring player’s registration fee the following year. If more than one family is mentioned, the discount will be shared evenly.

 

YOUR REGISTRATION FEE INCLUDES:

  • Scheduled games & practice ice costs (min. 2 ice times per week).
  • Use of Home & Away jerseys or Timbits jerseys.
  • Ringette BC fees, insurance fees, league fees, referee fees for league games, Western Championship assistance.
  • Team Registration in the Bunny Tournament (U7 & U9).
  • Half of Provincial Championship Entry Fee (U14 & up), if team qualifies.

 

REFUND POLICY:

All refunds are subject to a non-refundable administration fee of $25 that will be deducted from any refund granted.

  • Full Refund: If withdrawing up to and including September 15, 2018
  • 50% Refund: If withdrawing between September 16-October 31st, 2018
  • No Refund: If withdrawing after October 31st, 2018

 NSF CHEQUES: A $25 charge will be applied to any NSF returned cheque.

 

*GOALIES:

Full-time goalies in U14 and above, with their own equipment and submit registration and payment by September 15, 2018 are entitled to the Goalie Rate. Full-time Goalies who pay the “Goalie Rate” are not eligible for any other discounts.

Part-time goalies in U12 and above, with their own equipment, are entitled to receive a rebate at the end of the season (a percentage of $250 pro-rated based on the percentage of games played in net, as confirmed by game sheets).  Players in this situation will pay the full rate (and are eligible for all applicable discounts) and will receive the rebate at the end of the season.

 

*U7 & U9 NEW PLAYERS:

U7 & U9 new players are entitled to a special rate of $99 (plus fundraising fees). This special rate may be restricted at any time and is not combinable with any other discounts.

 

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE:

In the case of financial hardship there are programs such as Jumpstart and Kidsport available. These programs require applications well in advance of the season.  Applications must be submitted directly to these organizations, and the process varies. Contact the Registrar if you have questions about the application process.  

 

VOLUNTEERING:

Delta Ringette Association is run entirely by volunteers and new volunteers are always needed.

Each family is required to provide 5 hours of volunteer time per player (max 10 hours required per family) in addition to helping with team duties (score-keeping, time-keeping…)

A volunteer cheque, post-dated to April 1, 2019, of $100 per player (max. $200 per family) is required at the time of registration. The cheques will be returned or destroyed upon completion of the required volunteer hours.

Please keep a watch for volunteer opportunities throughout the season to ensure that your hours can be completed before March 31st. Volunteer opportunities include helping at tournaments, Come Try Ringette events, coaching, team managers, and other opportunities that arise throughout the season.
