Wow! 2025 keeps rolling. Our Chapter continues to work hard on presentation topics that are trending right now in the construction industry. The turn out to our dinners has been very impressive this term. The networking time is a great chance to talk to your peers and learn a bit from our tabletop sponsors. 

 

Presentation Summary:

This presentation will be non-proprietary, focusing on commercial roofing. Below are the following objectives of the presentation.

• Minor reductions of quality can have a big impact on long term performance.
• Prevention is the best insurance.
• What would we change if we had the ability to go back in time after roof failure?
• The most common way is not always the best way.

 

Presenter:

Guillermo Cordero, B. Arch., CTR, MRAIC, BSS, CSP

Internationally trained architect with extensive Canadian credentials in building science and specifications. He is currently the director of specifications for the Soprema office in Toronto after being an architectural representative for over 18 years
