When: Sun, 30-Aug-2020 - Sat, 21-Aug-2021

Halifax Hurricanes Ringette Registration

IMPORTANT INFORMATION for the 2020/2021 season

HHRA expects that the 2020/20201 ringette season will be mainly focused on developing the ringette skills of all Association players, as restrictions imposed by Ringette Canada, Ringette Nova Scotia, Nova Scotia Public Health and each individual rink due to COVID-19 currently prevent ringette activities such as playing league games with other associations and going to tournaments (both home and away).  These restrictions are constantly adjusting to meet the changing situation with the spread of COVID-19, so HHRA expects that the range of ringette activites that are permitted will also be adjusting throughout the season.

Please be aware that all rinks currently have restrictions in place which:

  • Set a maximum number of players on the ice (including coaches) and in locker rooms.
  • Prevent the use of player benches during the practice.
  • Restrict the amount of time that dressing rooms can be used, if their use is allowed at all. Players are expected to enter the rink no earlier than 15 minutes before their ice time with their gear on (minus skates), and leave immediately after their ice time.
  • Restrict access to the rink to players and coaches only (no parents/spectators).
  • Require that masks be worn within the facility when not on the ice.

HHRA is committed to providing all players the best possible ringette experience this season and appreciates your continued patience and understanding as the season unfolds.
