Virtual Foundations Course (Part 1 of 2)

**Participation in both classes is mandatory**

This virtual course is part 1 of 2 in the process of obtaining your NCCP Foundations Training!

In order to take this course you MUST have the following pre-requisites:

-First Aid/CPR Certification
-Water Ski Wakeboard Ontario membership, minimum  Adult-Community (Level 2) OR Youth-Community (Level 2). (sold separately here)
-Minimum 16 years of age as of June 1, 2026

**IMPORTANT - Participants must be in a proper learning environment with access to the platform and course materials simultaneously. Please do not attend while you are driving or doing other things that may be distracting. Our Facilitators can ask you to leave and you will not receive a refund. You must have your own computer with a headset containing a built-in microphone or be in a private space with no surrounding noise.**

There are two separate courses required in order to receive your Foundations Training.
You MUST register for these separately depending on the instruction you are looking to provide:
 Part 1: Foundations (virtual); and
Part 2: Boat Driving (in-person) OR Cable-specific (in-person)

**PLEASE NOTE THE BELOW REQUIREMENTS ARE NEEDED IN ORDER TO BE AN ACTIVE COACH**

*Successfully complete the Virtual Foundations training (part-one) and the Safe Boat Driving (part-two) OR Cable operating workshop (part-two)

*Hold a valid Adult-Community (Level 2) OR Youth-Community (Level 2). (sold separately here)

*Hold an active First Aid/CPR certification

*Hold a valid Canadian Pleasure Craft Operator License

*Provide a Criminal Background Check (valid within 3 years of the date of issue) if 18 years or older

*Completion of the NCCP's Safe Sport eModule (to be discussed during the virtual component and will be available once an NCCP number is assigned

*Completion of the NCCP's Making Headway in Sport concussion training (to be discussed during the virtual component and will be available once an NCCP number is assigned)

*Completion of the NCCP's Making Ethical Decisions online evaluation (to be discussed during the virtual component and will be available once an NCCP number is assigned)
