This in-person boat safety course is part 2 of 2 in the process of obtaining your NCCP Foundations Training!

In order to take this course you MUST have the following pre-requisites:

-Successful completion of online/virtual Foundations Course
-First Aid/CPR Certification – Level C
-Canadian Pleasure Craft Operators Card (Boaters License)
- Water Ski Wakeboard Ontario Active Adult-Community (Level 2) OR Youth-Community (Level 2). (sold separately here)
-Provide a Criminal Background Check (valid within 3 years of the date of issue) if 18 years or older
-Minimum 16 years of age as of June 1, 2026

*Food is not provided, please bring your own meals/water*

There are two separate courses required in order to receive your Foundations Training

You MUST register for these separately depending on the instruction you are looking to provide:
Part 1: Foundations (virtual); and
Part 2: Boat Driving (in-person) OR Cable-specific (in-person)


**PLEASE NOTE THE BELOW REQUIREMENTS ARE NEEDED IN ORDER TO BE AN ACTIVE COACH**

*Successfully complete the Virtual Foundations training (part-one) and the Safe Boat Driving OR Cable operating workshop (part-two)

*Hold a valid Adult-Community (Level 2) OR Youth-Community (Level 2). (sold separately here)

*Hold an active First Aid/CPR certification

*Hold a valid Canadian Pleasure Craft Operator License

*Provide a Criminal Background Check (valid within 3 years of the date of issue) if 18 years or older

*Completion of the NCCP's Safe Sport eModule (FREE eLearning will take approximately 90 minutes to complete once NCCP account details are provided following Part 1 & 2 training)

*Completion of the NCCP's Making Headway in Sport concussion training (FREE eLearning will take approximately 60 minutes to complete once NCCP account details are provided following Part 1 & 2 training)

*Completion of the NCCP's Making Ethical Decisions online evaluation ($85.00 through the Coaching Association of Canada once NCCP account details are provided following Part 1 & 2 training)
