Peter Burrow, Wine Education and Consulting Agency, 
a long time friend of Les Chevaliers, will lead
us through this evening tasting the
wonderful wines from ALSACE.

Peter is very knowledgeable about these excellent wines, and 
can give us a lot of interesting background information 
about them, increasing our appreciation and 
knowledge of ALSACE. This tasting, and
these wines, should not be missed.

Among French regions Alsace is unique, with both
French and German cultures having a profound 
influence in all areas of life, including, but not
limited to its wines. Alsace is also one of the
most picturesque regions of the world,
which is why exploring this area is so
popular with travellers.

Your tasting at this event won't physically put you there,
but it will let you sample some wines from
outstanding producers, and make you
wish you could be on the next flight
to this terrific wine region. 

Many people don't fully appreciate the ability of some white wines, 
especially good Riesling to age and continue to improve. 
This is a very good opportunity to explore the amazing
complexity and aromas of these wines,
several with long cellaring potential.
