Wolfberger Cremant D'Alsace Rose - $36.31- Alsace

“Wolfberger's Cremant d'Alsace Rose Brut displays a lovely delicate salmon color with active, small bubbles. Round and full-bodied, this Cremant Rose displays beautiful watermelon and strawberry aromas cascading in a smooth finish. A minimum of 15 months bottle aging before disgorging ensures ripeness.”

Cave de Saumur 2024 "Les Pouches" Chenin Blanc - $32.17 - Loire Valley

“Deliciously bone-dry Chenin Blanc from the Loire Valley. Grapes are from small parcels and blended into a special cuvee by a co-op who worked together to craft this wonderful summer sipper. Intense aromas of white fruit, flowers, and citrus on the nose. Mouthwatering acidity with a citrusy, mineral finish. Pair with flakey white fish.”

Domaine Saint Damien 2024 Cotes du Rhone Blanc - $34.24 - Rhone Valley

“A blend of Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, Marsanne and Bourboulenc. On both the nose and palate, this wine displays white peach and citrus characteristics. This medium-bodied wine has surprising acidity and minerality for its blend. Give this wine an hour of air to allow it to open up and really display its textural quality. On the finish there are intriguing fine herbal notes and slight hint of almond. Definitely worth trying, as this is a very enjoyable Cotes du Rhone Blanc.”

Regis Boucabeille 2023 Cotes du Roussillon “Les Terrasses” Blanc -
$37.35 - Roussillon

“A blend of 50% Grenache Blanc, 20% Grenache Gris, 20% Macabeu and 10% Roussanne. The farming here is organic and the winemaking is non-intrusive. Anise mulled pear, white flowers growing through a stone walkway, green pineapple, citrus slices, melon shaved ice & a creamy mineral mouthfeel.”

Domaine Servin 2023 Chablis - $51.84   - Chablis

“The mildly exotic aromas of ripe orchard, including white and yellow peach, apricot, lychee and passion fruit, are cut with citrus and tidal pool nuances. There is once again fine volume and excellent richness to the delicious medium-bodied flavors that possess a subtle minerality on the bone-dry, youthfully austere and borderline tannic finish.”

Chateau Tour Leognan 2023 Bordeaux Blanc - $57.01  - Bordeaux

“The 2023 Chateau Tour Leognan Blanc, hailing from the Pessac-Léognan appellation as the second wine of Cru Classé Château Carbonnieux, is a bright and aromatic Sauvignon Blanc-dominant blend that offers exceptional drinking pleasure. On the nose, it displays a vibrant melody of citrus fruits, primarily grapefruit and lime zest, with subtle floral undertones. The palate is fleshy and elegant, delivering a lively, fresh attack characterized by crisp acidity that is softened by the lusciousness of Sémillon. Well-balanced and charming, the wine features a subtle toasty, woody note from 6 months of barrel aging, adding depth to the fruit-forward profile. This is a "pure pleasure" wine designed to be enjoyed young, offering a dense, citrus-forward finish with hints of white peach.” 

Reds

Chateau Haut Monplaisir 2021 Cahors Tradition - $34.24 - Cahors

“This has a bright and fruity nose of red plums, raspberries and orange slices. It’s juicy and fresh with a medium body and crunchy acidity. From organically grown grapes.”

Terre Des Dames 2023 La Dame Rouge - $42.52 - Languedoc

“Medium-bodied, velvety and fruit-driven, showing silky tannins and texture with a mellow character. Juicy finish. From organically grown grapes. A blend of 45% Grenache, 35% Carignan and 20% Syrah.”

Domaine Robert Goulley 2024 Bourgogne Rouge - $43.56  - Burgundy

“The 2024 growing season was warm and generous and this shows in the glass: a bright ruby-garnet core and an open, immediately appealing nose of red cherry, wild strawberry and crushed raspberry, edged with dried rose petal, cinnamon bark and a faint whisper of woodsmoke from the barrel portion. The palate is medium-bodied and round, with sappy red-fruit sweetness carried on fine-grained, well-integrated tannins and just enough acidity to keep the mid-palate lifted rather than plush. Gentle earth and forest-floor tones emerge with air, leading into a clean, moderately persistent finish.”

Clos de Sixte 2021 Lirac Rouge - $45.63 - Rhone Valley

“The 2021 Lirac Clos de Sixte shows the more focused, mid-weight style of the vintage, yet brings attractive notes of red and black cherry along with some background peppery herbs, medium body, and a good finish. Based on 50% Grenache, 35% Syrah, and 15% Mourvèdre, drink this complex, satisfying Lirac over the coming 4-5 years.” 

Domaine Baudry 2024 Chinon "Les Granges" - $46.66 - Loire Valley

“Perfumed nose with notes of violets, damson and black fruits. Easy drinking style with floral notes, opening up to soft tannins and elegant juicy fruit. Baudry is a benchmark producer in the Loire and this Cabernet Franc from 35+ year old vines is outstanding! Aromatics of pencil shavings and capsicum lead to a palate with notes of raspberry, red currant, and earthy minerality. No oak. Organic farming with minimal sulfur.”

Clos de Mez 2022 Fleurie "Mademoiselle M" - $51.84 - Beaujolais

“Offering up inviting aromas of raspberries, cherries, plums and hints of warm spices, the 2022 Fleurie Mademoiselle M. is medium to full-bodied, velvety and succulent, with a deep core of crunchy, vibrant fruit that's framed by powdery, melting tannins. Conceived as a more gourmand, immediate cuvée for the domaine, it's the most approachable wine in the range.”
