We will do longer distance social rides with stops to chat/regroup at predetermined locations. Longer routes will have consideration for midpoint snack break, either roadside or a designated rest area (i.e. Tim Hortons). Although these are not training rides, we will move along at a moderate pace sufficient to cover the distances.

A small reduction in distance this week, but we have increased the hills a little. Come and ride the Talking Dog/Calahooi/Dawn Valley Loop.  The route climbs up and over the sand hills north of Spruce Grove and Stoney Plain. A planned rest break will be at the Calahoo General Store, before we turn south, and riding up Sec. Hwy. 779 then jog through Dawn Valley, before turning back east to the Talking Dog Brewery.

Please arrive with your mechanically sound bike 15 minutes prior to ride start for an opportunity to meet and greet, participate in the ride briefing, and ask any questions you may have. Please note: These rides are designated as no drop rides, but it is expected that riders remain in visual contact with each other and be able to navigate with Ride with GPS if required.
