Stamina Builder Optimum

The Stamina Builder Optimum series is a training program for cyclists looking at increasing their endurance and building independent riding skills. These Sunday morning rides enable member riders to progressively build stamina to complete 60km rides comfortably by the end of June. Bring your well-maintained bike and cell phone for enjoyable tours on good roads with some rolling hills. As the distances and pace increases, participants will need to ride more independently.

If you are joining the program for the first time, the organizer may contact you to ensure this training series is the right fit. The ride leader will be sweeping at the weekly minimum pace ride requiring cyclists to maintain this pace. RWGPS is required if you want to ride faster or if you can’t maintain the weekly pace. 

Location: Spruce Grove (11 Westwind Drive, Spruce Grove (near Love Pizza))

Description:  40 km route at approximately 20k/hr. Be prepared for an increase in elevation. All riders must ensure they carry 2 water bottles.
