We will do longer distance social rides with stops to chat/regroup at predetermined locations. Longer routes will have consideration for midpoint snack break, either roadside or a designated rest area (i.e. Tim Hortons). Although these are not training rides, we will move along at a moderate pace sufficient to cover the distances.

A small extension in distance to 56 km this week, for a  Morinville to Legal Loop with a minimal elevation gain of 92 m.  Alberta Highway riding at its finest. There is a planned rest, at about the midpoint in Legal AB, before venturing further east to our south turn point on RR 243. Then roll south before turning west back on Township Road 560 towards Morinville. 

Please arrive with your mechanically sound bike 15 minutes prior to ride start for an opportunity to meet and greet, participate in the ride briefing, and ask any questions you may have. Please note: These rides are designated as no drop rides, but it is expected that riders remain in visual contact with each other and be able to navigate with Ride with GPS if required.

Per Club policy e-bikes (pedal assist) are welcome.
