The weather is looking good for a walk/hike. Join us at 12:00 noon on Sunday, Nov. 8 to walk on the trails of the Chickakoo Lake Recreation Area in Parkland County. We'll meet in the main parking lot at Chickakoo Lake. Here's the trail map showing the main parking lot, outhouses, boat launch, etc.

Expect a 1.5 to 2 hour walk - so wear good walking shoes/boots. Bring your own hydration and a snack, and, if you choose, hiking poles. Depending on group interest, we may go for coffee afterward in Stony Plain or Spruce Grove. Also, before you leave home, check for a cancellation email in case the weather turns bad and we cancel.
