Entry & Lottery Details:

• Race entry fee is $175 CAD. This includes an initial $10 CAD non-refundable lottery entry fee.
• ONE lottery entry is permitted per person. Multiple entry may result in disqualification or denial of future entry.
• $10 CAD is charged when you enter the lottery. The balance of $165 CAD is only charged if your name is drawn in the lottery.
• Lottery entry is open from 12:00AM December 15, 2023 to 11:59PM January 31, 2024. All times are Pacific Standard Time (PST).
• Runners will be randomly selected from all lottery entrants February 05, 2024 beginning at 7p, with results posted live on the Knee Knacker Facebook page
• Full results will posted on the Knee Knacker website the following day & runners selected will be charged the remaining $165 CAD.
• Entries are non-refundable, non-transferable and there is no waitlist. In lieu of a waitlist and to comply with permits and maintain the community feel of this event, we overdraw the lottery according to historic attrition rates. We anticipate a starting line of approximately 200 runners.
• All runners will receive a commemorative high-quality garment, finisher medal, and meal at the post-race “Party in the Park”.

A small number of people qualify for guaranteed entry; they must still indicate their intention to run by registering before lottery entry closes. Details on special considerations are available here.

**Important Service Requirement**

As a community-focused, 100% volunteer-organized, non-profit event: in order to be eligible to participate, in addition to being selected in the lottery, you must complete four (4) hours of volunteer service. The period to meet this requirement for 2024 is from July 1, 2023, to June 30, 2024. This is a mandatory requirement of all applicants accepted in the lottery.
