Join us for NACCA 2026 in Kamloops, BC, this September 15-17!
We invite you to join us for the 2026 NACCA AGM, hosted by Interior Indigenous Community Futures, on the traditional lands of the Tk̓emlúps te Secwépemc within Secwepemcúl’ecw—the traditional and unceded territory of the Secwépemc People.
This dynamic gathering will feature several days of engaging technical sessions, immersive off-site activity tours, and a productive Annual General Meeting. Attendees will also enjoy numerous networking opportunities and a celebratory banquet featuring plated meals highlighting locally crafted cuisine, along with cultural performances by talented area entertainers.

ADDITIONAL ACTIVITY DETAILS (all will take place on Tuesday, September 15, 2026):

Set out on an unforgettable ATV adventure through the breathtaking landscapes surrounding our community, where wide-open countryside, rolling terrain, and scenic vistas provide an immersive way to experience the land. Guided by knowledgeable local hosts, you’ll follow a carefully curated route that showcases the region’s natural beauty while sharing stories of its rich history, cultural significance, and deep-rooted connections to the land. Along the way, there will be opportunities to pause, take in expansive views, and gain insight into how the landscape has shaped the people, traditions, and livelihoods of generations past. Designed to foster meaningful connection—with the land, local guides, and fellow participants—the experience concludes at a rustic outpost with a hearty, freshly prepared BBQ lunch, offering time to relax, reflect, and enjoy great food and conversation in the quiet beauty of the countryside.
Registrations to be a driver (must 19yrs+) or passenger ticket types available. We ask that all drivers have previous experience in driving off-road machines of similar type.
Tour Itinerary (Group 1):
- 9:00am – Shuttle bus transportation from hotel to/from tour site (pick up/drop off from NACCA hotels used in hotel blocks)
- 10:00am – arrive at drop off site/meet guides/get fit for helmets/review of machine operation
- 10:30am – Tour
- 12:00pm – BBQ Lunch
- 1:00pm – Depart back to hotels on shuttle bus

- 11:00am – Shuttle bus transportation from hotel to/from tour site (pick up/drop off from NACCA hotels used in hotel blocks)
- 12:00pm – BBQ Lunch
- 1:00pm – Meet guides/get fit for helmets/review of machine operation

- 3:00pm – Depart back to hotels on shuttle bus

Enjoy a guided two-hour canoe journey along the gentle current of the South Thompson River. The tour will begin with a meaningful tobacco feeding ceremony to acknowledge the land and waters you are about to travel. Led by an Indigenous guide and knowledge keeper, participants will learn about the history and cultural connection of the Secwépemc (Shuswap) people to the river. Prior to launching, guests will receive water safety guidance and basic paddle instruction to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience on the water. Participants will take in the surrounding landscapes and views of Kamloops, while canoe guides share stories of the land and river, along with traditional songs passed down through generations. The journey offers a unique opportunity to connect with the water, the land, and one another.

- 10:00am – arrive at drop off site/meet guides/get fit for personal flotation devices and paddles
- 10:30am – Tour
- 12:00pm – Board Bus to Coast Kamloops Hotel for lunch within their in-house restaurant TABLE twelvefifty (3x options will be available for guests to choose from)
Includes:
- Bus transport from hotel to/from tour
- 2 hour tour (guests will be required to paddle canoes in groups)
- Bus transportation back to hotel district with drop off at Coast Kamloops Hotel & Convention Centre for lunch at TABLE twelvefifty after tour

Experience the beauty of Sun Peaks Resort, located 45mins northeast of Kamloops. Your journey begins with a guided tour of the European-inspired Village. Along the way, take in sweeping mountain views while learning about the surrounding landscape, resort history, and the natural environment that makes Sun Peaks one of Canada’s premier mountain destinations (the second largest in British Columbia). The experience continues with a wine tasting on an outdoor patio, followed by lunch within Mantles Restaurant within the Sun Peaks Grand Hotel. Following lunch, guests will enjoy free time to explore the village, shop, or even take a chairlift ride up and down one of the hills to view flora/fauna and hike.

- 9:45am – Shuttle bus transportation from hotel to/from tour site (pick up/drop off from NACCA hotels used in hotel blocks)
- 11:00am – arrive on mountain to meet Village Guide for tour
- 12:00pm – Lunch
- 1:30pm – OPTION: Wine Tasting OR Lift Ticket to use Chairlift to explore on your own
- 2:00pm – Free time
- 4:00pm – Bus departs back to Kamloops Hotels

Bighorn Golf & Country Club offers one of the most unique golf experiences in British Columbia. Just minutes from downtown Kamloops, this par 72 6,870 yard 18hole desert-style course blends championship golf with sweeping valley views — and the unforgettable experience of playing alongside roaming Big Horn sheep that call the course home. Recommended for the seasoned golfer to enjoy.
First tee time: 10:00am (remaining will tee off one after another every 6-8 minutes)
We will attempt to place golfers into groupings of similar skill level. Please decide which category would best suit you when booking:
- Experienced Golfer - I golf 10+ times per year
- Average Golfer - I golf 4-9 times per year
